USChess

USChess is an interest group for all who are interested in international chess, from seasoned experts to keen novices. Through playing matches with and learning from one another, we hope to produce players with a keen eye for strategy, an eagerness to improve, and an unabashed love for the game.

IG Activities

We hold regular chess meets both within Cinnamon College and across colleges, where attendees play against one another. We also hold workshops to introduce novices to the game.

Key Events

USChess takes part in the annual Inter-Faculty Games (IFG) and Inter-College Games (ICG).

Commitment Levels

Commitment is on a come-when-you-can basis, but practices tend to increase during competition season.
