Permaculture @ USP

Permaculture @ USP is a unique partnership programme between the University Scholars Programme and Nature-based Education Company – Carbon InQ Pte Ltd. This programme is based on Permaculture Design Principles, which is a multi-disciplinary approach to sustainable design for agriculture, infrastructure and community building. Through the learning, practice and research of Permaculture, Permaculture @ USP provides a platform for students, faculty and alumni to collectively engage in creating a more sustainable future.

IG Activities

We organise some theory sessions to get more familiar with the Permaculture Design Principles. We typically go for Forest Bash (going off the trial at Lower Pierce Reservoir) and Dumpster Diving. Other events are organised based on members' interests. Some past events include a Permaculture Symposium and Bintan Fieldtrips to apply the Permaculture Design Principles.
