USProjects are long-term, large-scale initiatives. In contrast, GUIs tend to be one-off or sporadic events that are on a smaller scale.

Camp REConnection

Camp REConnection is an initiative that aims to reconnect the elderly and youths of today. Initiated by Ren Ci Hospital in 2014, Camp Reconnection is an annual 4-day camp organised in collaboration with USP students. Connecting youths aged 16 to 18 years old and elderly residents at Ren Ci Nursing Home, the camp comprises experiential learning, dialect lessons, sharing and interaction sessions. Through these activities, Camp REConnection strives to change perspectives about the ageing landscape and empower youths and seniors to communicate their ideas, skills and knowledge to one another effectively.

Connect Tuition

Connect Tuition is a mentorship programme founded in 2014 by USP students. The programme brings together student volunteers from USP and children aged 10 to 16 years old from the Dover Estate. Mentors and mentees foster a meaningful relationship over weekly tuition sessions and dinners at the dining hall, using meal credits from the Donate-A-Credit Scheme. Through these sessions, Connect Tuition strives to guide these youths academically and emotionally.

USP Productions

USP Productions (USProds) is a youth-led theatre group that serves as a platform for showcasing the theatrical talents and skills of USP students. Exploring issues deeply relevant to Singaporean society, USP Productions showcases original plays written and produced by students every year. Active since 2006, USP Productions is committed towards the development of quality student-driven theatre.
