Nocturna
Nocturna is the Black House in USP, and the N in UNITAS.
As the Black House, there is never a dull moment with the Nocturnips. Like our house name suggests, many of us are nocturnals and Nocturnips take pride in dinner bonding and random supper jios (we have yet to have any breakfast jios). The diversity in this house will definitely allow you to find like minded individuals to have fun together. Finally, #BlackHouseBestHouse is not made up as seen from our current winning streak as champions of Inter-House Games (IHG) and Scholaris.
House Animal
The house animal of Nocturna is the owl, an animal that is both intelligent and swift. Similarly, we have people who are not only intellectual but also active and sporty.
House Events
Nocturnipicnicking
Our first house event where we had a lovely picnic with a beautiful sunset at Marina barrage.
Nocturnight cycling
Overnight cycling from ECP → GBTB → Kallang → ECP and plenty of heart-to-heart talks in between, and a beautiful sunrise at the end of it.
Halloween
A 2-week trick or treat event, from snack packs to taped fans, it was a fortnight of terror and surprises.
Christmas Party
A night filled with food, fun and laughter. It was a one night potluck event accompanied with Secret Santa, where everyone was to prepare one ‘nice’ and ‘naughty’ gift.

Hawker food trail across 4 different hawker centres (from Bedok Corner to Old Airport Road).
CNY + VDay
Our first dress up, prom-themed event with high-class desserts, galaxy light projections and mahjong.
Nocturnight
Nocturnights are discord sessions which include movie streamings, games (mahjong etc), chill chit chat.
Casual post-USS supper jios
These supper jios range from Macs to Ameens, or any guilty pleasure that allows us to unwind and indulge.
Mahjong game night
Late night jios to relieve stress and have a fun-filled night!
