Rules
Guidelines for specific venues
For all USP students, regardless of residential status:
Chatterbox: closed until further notice.
Theme Rooms (Blue and Red): closed until further notice.
Makers' Studio: closed until further notice.
Chua Thian Poh Hall (CTPH): closed until further notice.
Residential facilities - managed by the Residential Assistants (RAs)
Lounges: up to 2 people may occupy it at any one time, observing 1m distancing requirements. RAs will manage a booking system with limited time for each use.
Pantries: Up to 2 persons may use a pantry, subject to social distancing measures. Clean up thoroughly after you use the pantry. If you find it in a mess, please let your RA/RF know and we will investigate the footage on the CCTV. If a 3rd person needs to use the pantry for transient affairs (e.g., refilling water, taking something from the fridge), that is permitted.
Laundry rooms: Please keep your laundry activities brief and do not linger.
Dining hall: There is currently no provision for dining in. This will be updated once the semester resumes.
General safe management measures (SMM)
Visitors and interaction with Fellow Residents: No non-resident visitors are allowed in the college, including non-resident USP students. This will be updated soon, especially in relation to the process of moving in at the start of August.
Masks: You must wear masks once you are outside of your room, including when you are out to use facilities. This also applies if you stay in the suite.
Visitors in room: Up to 1 resident visitor in your room is allowed at any one time. However you are not allowed to eat together in your room.
Lifts: A maximum of 6 persons is allowed in a lift at any one time. There are social distancing markers on the floor in the Lobby - please queue up according to the markers.
Other shared facilities (e.g., Piano, tables near the pick-up point): These facilities will be allowed, subject to social distancing measures.
